Teeth

I know metalcherry mentioned teeth briefly in another thread, but I was hoping that she may be able to go into a little more detail.
The reason why I've started this thread is because I had a 'teeth dream' last night.
Here's how it was...
I was standing in a room with my cousin (who I haven't seen or spoken to in weeks) and I was complaining about one of my teeth. My cousin told me not to worry as she had problems with her teeth too. She opened he mouth and all that was in there was two really big, thick teeth that reminded me of elephant tusks. She touched them with her hand and they wobbled a bit and she said "Whenever they feel like they're going to fall out, I just push them back in."
Then I looked into a mirror and saw that one of my teeth had come loose and was slowly sliding out - so I pushed it back in. One of the weirdest thing was that the root on the tooth was really long so it seemed like I was pushing it back in for ages. ...And that was it.
Any thoughts?

Teeth are always seen as a sign of anxiety, be it vanity, embaracement etc We cherish our looks so much that if we ever did loose our teeth we would be mortified and often when an occurrance which has "shook" you up maybe left you a little red faced or feeling a bit edgy about something often morphs into the one of the main thing we worry about in real life. I often find my dreams of teeth are after i have had a falling out with a friend or maybe i have messed up something in work and its praying on my mind which is funny because i have recently had a dream about my teeth falling out and it was revolving around a dispute with my friend.
We take such good care of our teeth the fear of losing them is a bit unnerving. Your cousin in this dream is different, we only ever associate actual people in our dreams if in real life there is an event involving them. are you particually close to your cousin but i notice that you said that you have not spoken to them in weeks. teeth signs are a sign of something you do not wish to loose!
The only thing in this that is throwing me off is the Elephant Tusk remarks about the long teeth. Long teeth often symbolises pleasure at a current family situation be it a bad pleasure or a good one. The only information i know about long teeth is about legal action or a family problem but it is the reference to "elephant tusks" which is really unusual, it might just be your mind tryign to associate something nice with something bad like your teeth falling out but Elephants are often seen as wisdom givers, knowledgable and strong and offering support to the weak.

Thanks Metalcherry I'm still not sure about the part about my cousin, but I will admit that I do have a few things on my mind that are making me a bit anxious.
