I would have to say the horror movie, It, by Stephen King, in 1989, the same year I was born. When I first watched it four years ago, I was scared to death because of how the clown was. It was freaky how it popped up everywhere and how it ate off George's arm and managed to kill him with that. I remember wanting to call him a pervert at first because when I saw the first part of the movie, he was always going after the children, not bothering to go after the adults. And then in the second part, ugh, he just gets worse, and then it's a spider in the end that they kill. How odd and it made me insecure for a while. Heh. I wouldn't even go to a circus for a few months.

Tough one... Out of that list I'm torn between Alien, Dawn Of The Dead, The Shining and Halloween. I also think that 28 Days Later deserves a mention... as does the sequel, 28 Weeks Later.
