Powertabs and Guitars!

I was a long-time member of the popular forums over at Ultimate-Guitar; however, to be quite frank, I'm fed up with people's shit. Pardon my French, but the people there are downright scum. I was hoping for a friendly community where people can discuss guitars, guitar tabs, and other related music topics, yet as long as I was there, I've yet to find that community. With the exception of a few members, the people there are rotten and have no regard for the feelings of others.

Anyway, I've decided to resign from those forums and start my own. I am hoping to be able to provide the friendly community that I had never found. I am hoping that I can recruit some talented and knowledgeable staff as well as a friendly population. Over at Powertabs and Guitars, I hope to be able to help many people pursue their favorite instrument, for it is my favorite as well. Don't let the name discourage you; this forum is not strictly about guitars and basses. There are sections for general music discussion as well as other basic discussions.

Let it be known that we do, in fact, have a section strictly for beginners. Beginners may post any questions they may have in order to be helped by a more seasoned player.

I use Ultimate-Guitar for tabs, I've never really checked out their forums but thanks to what you said about them I'll save the hastle. I'll check out your website

I still, and will always, use Ultimate-Guitar for tabs. Never again, however, will I use their forums for guitar discussions. I'm just so fed up with dealing with 5 or 10 nice members and 300,000 rude and ignorant members.
