00.15 – 02.00 – Aftershow Party!
The bar will be open until about 2am, so there’s plenty of time to (responsibly) consume cider, beer, spirits…
There are night buses heading towards the Croydon area (personally, I’ll be using the 250 – which, incidentally, also goes through Thornton Heath… just in case anyone else is going that way). I will have a look to see what time the last tubes are, but I am sure there are night buses running in the opposite direction to Croydon as well (as Croydon is not the centre of the universe). I would, however, recommend checking out www.tfl.gov.uk to help plan your journey in advance (I’ve also found Google Maps [for the photo view] and Multimaps to be infinitely useful in these kinds of situations!).
For those of you heading to Croydon and beyond, there is a relatively reasonably priced cab place at the 250 bus stop in Croydon (just before West Croydon Bus Station).
If you’re heading further afield… as far as I’m aware East Croydon station is 24hr (you can usually get trains to and from Victoria – East Croydon at any time of the day or night).
Dress code: There isn’t one – just remember to wear some form of clothing to cover your naughty bits! But, if you feel like coming dressed up as a zombie, Klingon, vampire, Storm Trooper or pirate we won’t hold it against you! In fact, we’d probably be rather impressed!
Remember to bring ID if you look young! No ID, no entry – even if you have a ticket!!!
Aftershow Party!
Yep, we’re going to be having an aftershow party at MitA! Once the bands have all finished up (at around 00.15) we can all headbang / dance badly to a fantastic selection of Metal and Rock, while having a few refreshing beverages!
If there are any specific songs that you would like to hear on the night / morning – let me know and I’ll see what I can do!
The party is expected to finish at 2am. There are nightbuses running in the area, so getting home safely shouldn’t be too much of a problem. It’s always worth checking out www.tfl.gov.uk for more info.
If you have any questions, just fire ‘em at me!
