I remember i was an office junior and i was manning the reception area - the boss was out and he had a large tv in his room.
I was sitting when all of a sudden one fo the staff members came in and ran into the office and said a plane crashed into the WTC. Everyone ran up = i couldnt cause i was on reception but i had no idea what the WTC was, i was nieve thinking it was a silly accident. they turned the tv up and i could hear it and i heard another plane had crashed and i thought "doh! how clumbsy are these pilots these days" not thinking what it could mean
Ah nievity - it helped me through so much.
but it was such a terrible day. the next place i went to work, i later found out 2 relatives of a collegue were workign there and died that day - we were in scotland and it still effects people across the world.
A horrible day and one to show that we all stand together through such a terrible time no matter where we are inthe world.

I forgot what grade i was in when it happened but it seems like it was yesterday... Our principal pulled everyone into the lunchroom and we watched the news for hours that day. Truly a day we will never forget... Rest in Peace to all the victims of 9/11, they will never be forgotton.
