Just wondering if there are people here that truly practice this? Alot people sit on the fence afraid that 'it could be true' and would rather go to heaven than hell. Even though a lot of people like this type of stuff does that make them evil? Thoughts please.

As far as I'm aware, only Theistic Satanists actually believe in Satan as a deity. LaVeyan Satanism is more focused on each individual's personal power and belief in one's self. An 'online friend' of mine recently set up a forum to discuss the variations of Satanism. You're welcome to look at it by clicking here. The site's only just getting started, but I think more information will be added to it soon - at very least it should point you in the direction of some interesting sites and books. I'm not a Satanist myself (nor do I follow any organised religion), so I cannot shed any more light on this. If someone is a Satanist - LeVeyan or otherwise - I certainly wouldn't consider them to be evil. It's just another belief structure. It's the things people do that make them evil - the crimes they commit, etc. |

I'm not a Satanist. Wouldn't be, ever. I just don't like it, that's all. I'm simply an Independent, meaning, I don't care what others do as long as they aren't being forced to do it.
