This morning I've been talking to Travis (a musician who is in a band called Dark Autumn) and we started discussing Ouija Boards.
Here's the conversation:
Have any of you used an Ouija Board? What was your experience with it?
Here's the conversation:
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
hey
Lou says:
Hey!
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
How are you?
Lou says:
I'm not too bad thanks. You?
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
Just got back from my gfs, a bit weirded out...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
her and a friend were playing with a Ouija board
Lou says:
Ok... did anything happen?
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
First, my gf communicated with her great grandmother...
Lou says:
Did it actually work?
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
yes...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
then some random man, from Georgia, who liked Gospel music, fought in Vietnam, and was in the KKK
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
The guy from Georgia's last name was "Hoed," which is Dutch...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
when we asked what his heritage was, he spelled "Dutch"
Lou says:
That's f**king spooky. I'm way too chicken to do a Ouija board... even though I'm not completely sure that I believe in it... I'm just too scared to risk it! lol
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
Then, they asked about my spirit guide, and that man began giving details about mine, then we asked to speak to him...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
When he began communicating, the movements were very forceful. It said that my spirit guide was a German man, who died at 29 years old, and was in the Afrika Korp in WWII
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
he said he died from a bomb
Lou says:
If he was in the forces there may be records of him somewhere. You could try doing a bit of research and find out more about him.
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
I tried, couldn't find anything...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
he wouldn't give us his last name
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
and the name he gave would have been like a nickname or something, rather than a real first name
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
Plus, he said some misleading things; We asked his rank, and he spelled "General"
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
if he was, I couldn't find any within his age range, but some of those things were not very well documented, and a lot of records were destroyed.
Lou says:
Did you speak to anyone else?
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
That was all, but that was 3 people
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
It was about an hour or two session
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
haha our friend asked if she could run to the bathroom during the session with the man from Georgia (who said he was buried here in Salisbury, NC)...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
he said "Yes" and was still there when she returned, haha
Lou says:
Sorry if this is a stupid question - but I know absolutely nothing when it comes to this sort of thing - but how does the board work?
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
Oh no its fine...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
well supposedly, when you summon the spirits, they more or less enter your body, or at least the area, and use the icon as a tool to indicate letters and answers.
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
They used a large piece of drawing paper, and a clear cap from a spray bottle...
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
The bottom of the cap wasn't perfectly smooth, and their fingers barely pushed it, but when the cap would scrape and tumble a bit, it was as if the spirit kept pushing, until it reached the indicated letter.
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
so there was obvious force moving the cap around
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
you could hear it scrape from downward pressure, when both the girls hands were on the side of the cap, unable to exert downward force.
Lou says:
Hey, I'm a member of a forum called SoulSnake. It's a 'dark community' where we talk about horror stuff and also paranormal stuff. Would it be ok if I copied this conversation and posted it on there? I'll add a link to Dark Autumn as well
Travis (Dark Autumn/The Voyager) says:
haha if you like
Lou says:
Excellent
