What do you guys think of piercings? I'm trying to sort my body out and get some abs (yes, a vigorous training scheme has begun! I'm working out every morning before I go to work!). It's not that I'm fat at the moment, it's just that I know I really could be better.
Anyway, my 'reward' for doing this is to have my belly button pierced. Has anyone else here got any piercings?

I used too, just my left ear though. I don't mind piercings on females but i think you can go over board! Belly button is good as you can cover it up if need be.

I love piercings, you can take them out and all you have is alittle indent. done it lots of times. Got my nipples done a few times and also my eyebrow.
Sadly work made me take out the eyebrow and think i grew out the nips

Lol..WHOA, your nips (love this short hand!) would have been torture wouldn't it? I think i will give that a miss! Personally, and truthfully, i did feel pain for 10 seconds when she put the needle through, i freaked out when i looked up and she puts a thin tube through but it was straight across my body haha! others have said getting it done is more painful than lip. Would love to get them done again but i think i might be a bit older, sticking to tattoos now  |

I have three different piercings, 0-guages in both of my ears and snakebits in my lips. I'm debating if I should get any more. Just like metalcherry, I'm sticking with tattoos for now.

If i wasn't so vain and didnt really care much about my appearance (not saying those with tattoos dont) i would have lots of tattoos across my body. but i only have one across the lower back which i have extended and extending again soon but if i get anything else done, i want it below the bra line so when i get my wedding dress, nothing shows - nothing more repulsive than seeing a beautiful dress ruined by a skull or doodles on the body lol. prefer tatts to be shown when wearing jeans and a tshirt or something grungy Still debating whether i want more piercings, i want my eyebrow done again, i took it out some time ago and its closed over despite having it in for over 2-3 years (which is apparently quite long for an eyebrow piercings i have been told and the several times i have woken up and my lace pillows dangle from my head lol) i keep trying every week to see if i can re-open it - an impossible task but might as well try thinking about getting belly done but once i lose weight has anyone seen 3d piercings aka 3d tattoos or specpiercings (yes, you heard me right) very unusual and differnet! |

I have four peircings and two tattoos. I have two in my ears, my tounge, and my nose. I have a star on my left wrist and a grunge bear on my back. I plan on getting tons more of both. Working up the courage for my "nips" and my vajayjay......lol.

nip are sore but in my own opinion - hurt for a grand total of 10 seconds - as soon as its over its over - just remember to keep them v.v.v.v.v.v.v.v clean - push one side in clean with a cotton bud and some anti bac soap and vice versa.
currently designing my new tattoo - a charm bracelet to remember my gran (i enherited a charm bracelet which i loved as a child and my gran was a fan of jewelary )
shoudl look pretty!

Ive had a few over the years but no longer have them. (except up and down my ears). Im more into my tattoos now.
