Why not use a C-Box? It saves your posts in case no one is on, so someone's bound to answer, plus it's more organized and easier to keep track of - you would never miss another member trying to chat with you! ^.^

I did have one on the home page here right at the start but decided to take it off as the potential members or guests would only use the Cbox. I would like to hear if anyone else agrees with Blake or would rather go without a cbox?

Using a Cbox can allow guests to ask questions without making useless posts in the forums - as we all know guests cannot post here but only in the advertising forum; reason, to prevent spamming. But if a guest wanted to know more about the forums, the guest could always use the C-Box to ask a question. Just a suggestion I have up for the C-Box right now. I could come up with a couple of others once I clear them out.

To be honest, I'm slightly nervous about giving my opinion after the last few days...
But, I do like to throw my 2 cents so I'll do it anyway.
I used to have a CBox on Loucifer Speaks, but we rarely used it. I think some peopl just prefer to actually post things on the forum rather than talk in a Cbox. I had mine in a Members Only area as Cboxes are terrible when it comes to spammers. Unless you get one where you have to sign up, it's near impossible to stop people (or spambots) from just coming on and ruining the box.
If you do get one where people have to sign up (which I would recommend), it does raise the question that if someone is willing to sign up to use a cbox, why are they not willing to sign up to use the forum?
The cbox does have it's advantages - as Blake pointed out - and could work well as long as it's used properly.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of them, but if other members like the idea then it could be a nice addition to the forum.
