I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! I figured it out! /stops running.
Remember when I said I had problems when I was making graphics? That the pixels were popping up whenever I saved the text onto an image? Well, turns out I was saving them on the JPG file type, and I could never figure that the PNG file type would actually work -
You see, when I saved it as a .png, it didn't show properly because there were white edges around the stuff. But I was getting really frustrated so I just went, What the hell I'm just gonna put it up. So I go and upload it and the next thing I know, I'm looking at a BEAUTIFUL banner with the perfect, neatest, best text you could ever see! Of course, it kind of sucks still but at least the text is working!

Saving in PNG format is much better than JPG. The latter is compressed even if you save for best quality it still has flaws, on some graphics programs you can optimize before saving your file. That way you can be sure your PNG file will be flawless.

Yeah. Three times I've saved something as a .png file, and before they were uploaded they were like, messy with white edges on the dark parts. But when uploaded, they were just perfect, just as I had wanted them. I always thought it was supposed to be .gif for the text but then found that I didn't have that file type. So...I wish I knew where to go to get new file types. Grr.

It's on my Goosebumps forums, lou.
And the program I use is kind of old - Ulead Photo Shop Deluxe something something, bleh.
But on my old computer it used to have .gif files, but ever since I started using a new computer it hadn't had that file type.
