Don't think he agreed about not locking the threads?

Don't think he agreed about not locking the threads? If that's the reason it seems a bit petty Oh well, it's his loss.

Hmm?
Petty? How so? I felt disrespected.
But nevertheless I've returned, and hopefully this time you will let me do whatever it takes to help SoulSnake out with his forums.

Hmm? Petty? How so? I felt disrespected. But nevertheless I've returned, and hopefully this time you will let me do whatever it takes to help SoulSnake out with his forums. Seriously, if you felt disrespected you should have just said something. In 'real life' if something like this was to happen in a place of work - for instance, if a colleague disagreed with you about something - would you just walk out? Of course not. You'd probably stick around and try and work something out. Since you just disappeared without a single word as to why, I consider that to be pretty petty. I'm sorry if that offends you, but that's the way I see it. I'm pretty forthright with my opinions, if I think something would work better if done another way, then I'll mention it. By no means does SoulSnake have to take my advice - after all, they're just suggestions. I just thought that locking topics after one week was a bit of a waste. I'll admit, it did just seem like you were doing it because you had the power to do it - not because there was any actual reason to. As far as I'm aware, that forum is not open for guests to post in, so there's no risk of spammers - other than that I really can't see the problem. But, with all that aside, I really can't stop you if you want to do that. I would suggest (again, this is only a suggestion) that you run stuff like this by SoulSnake beforehand - since he created these forums and probably has his own ideas on how they should be run. I'll understand if you have a problem with me after this... as it really does seem like we've got off on the wrong foot. I'd like to point out that I don't have any issues with you on a personal level. The only issue I had was with the locking-posts thing... and the only reason I have issue with that is because I really like this forum, and want to see it thrive and be the best it can possibly be. Again, I'm sorry if this causes friction between us. I really am. But for some reason I feel the urge to be honest.

Let me just say, as i have said on other posts (that have now been deleted), in the staff guidelines and in personal messages. Under no circumstance are threads to be locked nor is there any need to lock them except for to stop hostilities between members, if its a repeat post or if a competition or like wise has ended. This would apply to any staff member at SS, including me! I hope that clarifies things and we can all live in harmony With a bit of blood and horror of course Thanks SS
