Please tell me if im going overboard with coding or anything else that you would like to see changed on SoulSnake! I respect the opinion of SS members and will take into account your thoughts on the look of SS. After all there is no SS without members. Sometimes its hard to see the forest for the trees, if you know what i mean

I wonder how much it would cost to get on those Google ads that you see at the top of each ProBoards forum? I've been thinking about putting my site in them for a while now, but I haven't got around to looking into yet. I'm sure that would generate quite a substantial amount of traffic and quite a few members. I'll see if I can find anything out... *edit* Some info from Google Adwords: It's worth looking in to, but it really depends on if you want to spend any money on this. Alternatively, there are other ways to promote the site. If you have access to a good printer/photocopier, you could make flyers and leave them in places where your target audience may go. So, for instance, sci fi/collectables shops, that kind of thing. I've done this in the past for my site and, while it's not a sure-fire way of getting members, it does at least get the name of the site out there. I'd also recommend really pushing the writing competition on here. Again, I've had competitions on Loucifer Speaks in the past and people have joined just for those... and then stuck around afterwards. Not everyone will stick around, but you'll end up getting a few who will. I seem to be rambling now, so I'll stop!

No your not rambling, its good advice! I have had a bit to do with google, as it says above its pay per click. Not sure what each click is worth though?

I think it means that everytime someone clicks on your advert you pay a certain amount. I think that's what it is anyway!

Personally I don't think you should add any more forums, not at least until we get more members, members that would actually be active. I've only seen fenrir around once and he only made like two posts, so I'm growling at that very issue right now.
I would help promote the forums but I'm not having much luck at the moment. I'm also trying to make myself famous but bleh, hard to do when you don't have an agent or a manager.
