This morning I decided to do a little bit of research on demonic possession (y'know, as you do!) and through various links on good ol' Wikipedia, I ended up reading about The Lesser Key of Solomon. Rather than copy and paste the entire article, I thought I'd just post a link here to it - Click here. What I found most interesting about this article was the names of the 72 demons. It's amazing how many of them have been encorporated into TV shows, books and video games. So, I thought I'd leave you with a couple of questions. 1. Do you have an interest in this?
2. Can you think of any other examples where the demonic names have been used in entertainment?

I like this, for a few reasons. It doesn't really scare me and only inspires me to do research on it while trying to find the stuff. The first reason is that it's in a game, Shadow Hearts Covenant. I could use the research for it because in the game you have to place the demons on the map according to element and its rule. As for the other reason, I want to find those things, the ring, the map, and the book.

It was hard for me to do the Soloman's Key in the game, though. I had to figure out which demons went where, and you don't get them all at once - you actually have to look for them, and in rare cases you had to fight certain monsters for them. I'm thinking about borrowing it from my uncle again since it's his game, and well, it's a very funny game, too. I'm like hooked on the Shadow Hearts stuff because of that. But yeah, it's easy in the beginning and gets more challenging toward the end. And well, I'm starting to think the story is just a myth because it seems there's nothing about a report on where it might be hidden.

I few of these demons are spread throughout final fantasy games also (Valefor in FFX and belias in FFXII) but they very rarely stay in character. Belias can be found in FFXII as the scion of fire, Ruling over that element and smaller creatures of fthe same. In the mythology he controls the element of earth and earth demons. So while video games may use the demons in them they very rarely keep them in their original state.

Interesting "book", if one believes the "Lesser Key" and ther "Greater Key" have ever really existed, let along written by Solomon and dictsted by God. Seems to stretch the immagination just a tad, doesn't it, though I have copies of several "black books' that one is supposed to be able to do wonderous things with. I'm not in any rush to see just what can be done, if anything. LMAO.
