Stephen King goes into detail way too much.
It's always good to have a little detail but he overdoes it.
Dean Koontz is better than King IMO. I'm not saying I don't like King either, because I do. But Dean Koontz takes the win on this one. I think he is a much better writer.

I rarely read Dean Koontz until he brought out his books in comic book form. Someone bought me "Rats" in comic and its a great book lol. Esp for someone with little attention span lol.
But Stephen King is my favorite though. The only books i can read all the way through
