I haven't played many of these games but what would be the best horror game you have ever played?

I adore the Silent Hill games. hated the films love the games with a passion, have them all, and tes they succeed in Freaking me Out!! Quite like the early PS1 Resident Evil games too.

I also adored the Silent Hill games, Clock Tower is also a game I recommend for a good fright. Resident Evil really didn't scare me, but it did keep me on my toes ;] Ever try the game Killing Floor?

I love the first two F.E.A.R games. the third one kind of ruined it for me but Alma really knows how to get to ya and she is a bad-ass to boot. I wish I had the chance to play any of the Silent Hill or Fatal Frame games.

F.E.A.R was pretty good, never played the third..and if you ever get a chance to play Silent Hill, let us know what you think!
