This is a dream that a had a few times over the course of about 2 years.
I was in a really nice house (like the house you'd imagine a millionaire to have) and I was wandering around. I was with some friends (although they didn't actually look like my friends - but in the dream I knew them) and suddenly everybody started to panic.
Next thing I know, another girl and myself are being chased out of the house and into the garden where there is a swimming pool. For some reason, at this point I know that the man is a serial killer and, as if to prove me right, he murders the girl.
I slip and fall into the pool and he jumps in after me. As soon as the water touches him, he's clothes melt away and then his skin starts to melt away. Then I'm being chased by a skinless man/monster. Just as he's about to touch me I wake up.
Weird, eh?

Mine too. I just tried looking at some dream websites and I can't really find any answers there.

Well, it seems like I might have at a few things to say about this one. It's a little confusing, but listening to some music made me come to some conclusions, in which some could possibly be bizarre.
It's possible, that in a past life you could've been rich, hence why you had a nice house, and it could also explain why you knew those people as your friends even if you hadn't met them in real life, or at least your present life. About the girl and you running out, you two could've wanted to go out together or such, but then again, you did mention that there was a man chasing you. Consider that you were actually a child when all this happened in your past life, and that there had been a pedophile chasing you. For the woman you were with, she could've been your mother or aunt, or just a friend trying to protect you. In watching a horror movie before you went to bed, you could've had a nightmare in where, say, you watched "Dawn of the Dead" or something where acid is involved, but in where the pedophile turns into the monster you speak of. This could've been aroused from the fear of a child that had been through something bad, and the acid-zombie could've developed due to your fear.
Of course, it's only one of my bizarre conclusions. A minor one is that you could've just watched too many movies altogether...But then again, you never know. I've had quite a few bizarre nightmares of my own and still trying to understand them. But this sounds like mostly the movie, "Scream". I daresay you could've watched that movie and fell asleep through it, hence the nightmare in where it originated, eh?

Yep, it's certainly possible that I've been watching too many horror movies / reading too many horror books.... and, admittedly, I have been known to dream about zombies after reading certain zombie books ("Monster Island" for example). So, this explanation is perfectly reasonable. I'm not too sure I believe in the past life idea, but this is mainly because I'm not too sure that I believe in past lives. It could be good to have a topic about past lives elsewhere on the board. It could prove to be pretty interesting

The reason why I believe in reincarnation is kind of complicated to explain, but it's because of the soul we each have in our body, and the ability to see with our own eyes just seems to be something that wouldn't be a once-in-an-eternity thing. Imagine being yourself, not the person you are but the one who sees, for only at least a hundred years, and then seeing nothing but light or darkness for the rest of eternity. It's just kind of creepy, hence why I hope reincarnation is true! But okay, I'm going to lock this topic since it's already been interpretted, somewhat.

I think you might be remembering a horror movie in your sleep. It sounds like it could become a good horror movie, you should make some money from this.

It does seem that your brain has a very imaginative side to it. Perhaps you could take advantage of it and try making movies or books out of it, like devildude said. If you do, I think I would probably watch some of your movies. I don't always watch horror movies, though.

Mansion = untapped fortune. Maybe not riches but some kind of potential which still has to be explored as at the moment you are feeling caught up or in a rutt about a relationship or a strong situation.
Anything that involves water - you are currently trying to work out a situation you are in, exploring possibilities on how to resolve it. Water is a sign of emotion whether it be requiring support or just the need to express some emotion and also a sign that you are submerging your feelings - hiding them away and it is overcoming you.
A witness to a murder shows deep regret or anger towards someone and when you witness a murder, your perception of the victim is often something in yourself wishing to see it destroyed or eliminated but often murder will appear in dreams when you are feeling depressed, its a common form which often appears in times of sadness or unable to handle your feelings.
A monster in a dream often respresents something ugly in yourself, something you are hiding or is taking over you and often symbolises some repressed emotion.
.....im beginning to see a link here lol in dreams there are always key items which stick out, these are the ones to focus on. But as i have said in the past - Dream reading is often like fortune telling, very vague and can often relate to a number of different things
