It could be cool if we could put together a (pretty much!) comprehensive list of films, books and games that have covered possession in some shape or form.

As well as being a nice little Possession Guide, it'll also help me when it gets close to Pay Day and I start looking for new DVDs to buy

To start us off, I'm going to mention one of my favourite TV shows at the moment - Supernatural. They seem to deal with possession in every other episode so it definitely deserves a place on the list

I will add the most famous of them all, The Exorcist made in 1978 was the benchmark of horror films of today. It even caused some viewers deaths in theatres (so it is believed). If you havn't seen this your missing the very beginning of of the horror era.

Another movie was The Exorcism of Emily Rose made in 2005. A true story about a teenage girl who believed she was possessed by several demons, including Lucifer, Judas Iscariot, Nero, Cain, Hitler, and Fleischmann. This film is another worth watching.
