I have for the past 20 some odd years been engaged in doing reenactments of various Civil War battles in three southern states and during that ttime I have become quite familiar with various "ghosts" at various battlefields, as well as in the local towns. They have ranged from almost 'vapor' to "rock hard solid", having saken a few hands that I knew simply were not real, as far as in thhe same time and space as I was in and they ought to have been but weren't plus some showed physical indications of having been killed, as in loss of an arm, part of aa head, things like that , that might tip someone off, so to speak. Plus I have been at two battles were I met several of my 18 ancestors that served with the Confederate Army and I knew they died of old age and are still buried in the family plot in N.C.
