I suck at the Resident Evil games, but I really like to watch other people play them.
Does anyone here like them and, if so, do you have any tips for a complete novice?

My uncle has them, and he and I play them every once in a while. I don't get killed that easily when I play it but I do get stuck at certain levels because half the time I can't figure out what to do.

I am good at them, i love the games to be honest (cannot wait for the next one), i think the best piece of advice i can give ya, is conserve ammo, especially if its gonna be awhile before you can find any, conserving ammo is your best bet. also if you are a bit jumpy at things that come out from nowhere, best thing is to expected the unexpected.

I tend to just press them all and hope for the best. That kinda thinking works for games like "House of the Dead", but not for "Resident Evil"! lol

I have a long history at the resident evil series >.> I own almost every RE game released (except resident evil survivor 1&2) which were garbage by the way...I have a habit of playing through it once then play through it on hardest difficulty setting until I can beat it without dying..  I'm dying on the edge of my chair just waiting for number 5 to come out 'xO |

Not a bad game - annoying "assistant" but quite good.
doesnt beat the first one though!

I have MC beat it also. I had quite a few times where i almost threw my controller tho lol Sheva was a very bad A.I. to have as a partner..all she did was waste precious ammo..I loved the storyline though I can't believe that they brought Jill back  |
