What can we do to make SoulSnake stand out from the crowd and get it the members that it so rightly deserves?

Should you not consider heavily advertising? uklinkexchange, linkreferral etc - I believe your board has shown it's a different type of forum compared to the usual generic music/gaming sites out there and it is going to interest people who have an interest - be it an inkling or a major obsession. I think you should start considering maybe looking for your own personal site instead of a free site - downside to it because its a free site, i do not believe they let you take your posts without a fee would gothic sites such as vampfreak goth auctions etc not have the sorts of members which may be interested?

super natural subjects is something people will google from time to time and its such an interesting subject that i believe forums and sites which host topics on it will keep people wanting to check back. I honestly think if you find a cheap host (many start from £2.50 a month) to have your own site and then start advertising it. If you can not transfer the posts, im happy enough to go through most of the posts and retype/paste them into new threads on the new site. My forum used to be on forumup where you could nto take yoiur posts if you moved so i went through 500 posts and copy/pasted them into new threads. gives your site a kick start as well - maybe ask your members to copy and paste some of them - sure many would not mind might restart some of them again!

Good thought Metalcherry. I am busy setting up a logo design business that i'm hoping will send me into riches, lol. Well atleast retire from the real day job anyway. I will definately seriously think about that down the line. Thanks for the offer

In the meantime, I've put the link to SoulSnake in my signature on quite a few other forums. *fingers crossed*

I'll start submitting it to link directories, there are a few sites which will submit to all the directories quite easily and start setting up link referrals etc. think Lou is also on LR too. x
